“POLATER LAW OFFICE” in Ankara was founded by Attorney Assoc. Prof. Salih Polater.
Many regulations in Turkish law have been transferred from European law, especially from German law. But legal practices and working methods in Turkey are sometimes fundamentally different from those in Europe and Germany.
I had the opportunity to conduct a German-Turkish comparative law research at Max Planck Institute in Munich. Thanks to my previous research experience, I obtained in-depth knowledge of both countries’ legal systems and practices.
Attorney Assoc. Prof. Salih Polater received his PhD in Germany. He also has numerous publications on intellectual property law, data protection law, law of obligations, commercial law, family law in Turkish and European law.
